Philharmonic Chamber Cologne in concert
Presentation
After a highly successful concert in 2025, the Philharmonic Chamber of Cologne (Germany) will return to Uzès on its 2026 tour, with virtuoso Sergey Didorenko.
You'll have the chance to see and hear him at the Temple Protestant, with a repertoire in which virtuosity plays an important role.
The Cologne Philharmonic Chamber brings together musicians from many countries to give concerts all over the world, from Cologne Cathedral to the Sydney Opera House (Australia). Since its foundation, this string orchestra has quickly become a great success, thanks to the exceptional virtuosity of its musicians and soloists.
In principle, the repertoire consists of selected, highly demanding pieces. The particular appeal of the program lies in the combination of popular works from different musical eras.
For their 2026 tour, the artists propose works by Vivaldi, Bach, Tchaikovsky and Mozart.
The program:
Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741)
4 concertos for violin, strings and continuo
Johann S. Bach (1685-1750)
"Have mercy on me" from the "St. Matthew Passion" for violin, cello and strings
Peter Tchaikovsky (1840-1893)
