The Uzès en Scène Festival presents "Mothers-in-Law Willing to Do Anything to Stop the Wedding." Actresses Isabelle Péan and Karine Kadi Joubert are two amazing women willing to do anything to stop the wedding—but above all, to make you laugh.
Synopsis:
Stepmothers will stop at nothing to prevent their children from getting married. Faustine Boullac de la Coulandière has decided to marry off her son, Louis-Edouard, to Eglantine.
Djamila Bouhamza, who is just as wealthy thanks to her successful local business, has also planned a wedding for her daughter Fatima to Mohamed.
But the young adults, Louis-Edouard and Fatima, are secretly in love. They’ve decided to celebrate their union, no matter what. When it comes time to start wedding preparations, what about the ceremony—at a church or a mosque? What about the meal—couscous or foie gras?
The lovebirds have therefore planned everything so that the families will have no choice but to come to an agreement. And to start the reconciliation process, they demand that both their mothers take a DNA test to scientifically determine their family origins. And when the DNA speaks… everyone gets a piece of their mind.
