Follow in the footsteps of the ancient Christian places of worship in Uzès. Indeed, the ancient Roman city of Ucetia, a recognized bishopric since the middle of the 5th century, was home to several churches that have now disappeared but are still present in the collective memory.
Other later churches still exist, in ruins, sometimes reduced to a mere vestige, or only located thanks to archaeological excavations, not forgetting the large Protestant temple totally destroyed in 1685...
