In the middle of winter, after the last harvest from the vegetable garden, two gardeners head indoors to warm up in their little cottage. Today is no ordinary day: they’re busy decorating and cooking for their little celebration, just the two of them.
The Amarante Theater Company presents a shadow puppet and marionette show in the style of silent film.
The Story:
It’s that time of year when the winter lights are soft and treats abound. Our gardeners will soon realize they aren’t the only inhabitants of their little “cozy nest.”
“No freeloaders or stowaways: Come on, shoo—everyone out!” … After a few twists and turns and some comical mishaps, they finally find themselves alone!
Still alone…
So alone…
Always alone…
But it won’t last…
